Hi all...with the new software up and running is there any chance that one day i will be able to rotate the map

I am not aware that this is pencilled in.  In what way do you want to rotate the map, does scrolling not do?

If you have the 3D version of Radarbox, then the 3D map can be rotated.  A very useful feature to orientate the map to your viewing direction.
