I have the same problem just now, screen freezes, unchecked the 'Process Hardware Flight' produces the same error as seen by others, also mine is Windows 7 64 bit, program located in C drive

Yesterday the ANRB turned itself off and I had to reload it ,also the day before

Its running on the new V5.00.065 downloaded update, was OK in earlier V5 versions

Tony,

What is the error, when you get the error message can you attach the error report for the developer as we cant replicate therefore without it there is nothing we can do.

When you state it turned itself off what do you mean, the box switched off or the software crashed.  When you mean reloaded, do you mean you reinstalled the software or started it back up?

Hi Alan

The screen froze and I tried unchecking the 'Process Hardware Flights' and this came up:-

Access violation at address 0054312C in module "ANRB.exe". Read of address 00000197, not sure where to find the error now, just came in the Windows small box

Didn't actually see the box go off when I came back in the room, the map display blank and My Flights and Network Flights empty, only power light on the Box, just pulled out USB and reattached came on straight away, the day before just checked the Process Hardware Flights box and it restarted

Thanks Tony,

Next time the error box comes up there in the small box you are given the opportunity to see more about the error and it can be saved to the clipboard, if ticked or clicked I cant remember which it saves to mydocuments.

Can you advise if you upgraded or used the full install.  It may be benificial to run it again.

It may be an idea to run the upgrade again Tony or if it persists do the full install.  There has been no change to the main part for a good few versions now and if it was running OK previously there may have been a wee error in the install process

I still not had a fix from Airnav about all network flights disappearing with the new version.

The old version works fine

Tony,

You will be better contacting [email protected] or please feel free to email your error to me and I will forward it to the developer.

I take it you are persisting with the upgrade and have not tried the full install

I would still suggest you go with the full install Tony.  This has cured any problems for others

Hi Tony,
I would agree wholeheartedly with Alan's recommendation to uninstall RB and use the full install program, but first save your Logs and any other information and files that you want to keep. Then thoroughly delete all RB files that you can find - I used the Start bar to Search for AN and RB files then deleted them, and empties Recycle Bin.  HTH
ANRB :  AOR AR8000 : Icom R-7000 : Icom IC-R9000 : JRC NRD-545 : OptoElectronics Digital Scout and OptoLinx Interface; Realistic Pro-2005 : UBC 800XLT - listed in alphabetical order, not cost, preference, performance or entertainment value!
