Alan, if you get an Windows Message with the content: ANRB.exe isn't working propably anymore and have to be closed you can't be 100% sure that this shut-down will be performed without any harm to the programm modules of the software you're going to shutdown by that hard way.

But it seems, that AN has programmed the beta that well, that ANRB SW has savely ceased all access to the db files bevore going to nirvana. So, you can take my coment as a so called compliment.

About the ring problem. Not noticed on any of my systems (three different Windos 7 versions, 3D and no 3D option active). I would suggest a full system (operation system: Windows) re-start. Maybe that solves the problem.

I too have the same problem with the radar rings. When the software first starts they display correctly but after about 30 seconds the whole centre is just a big white circle. Also I have noticed when I turn off the radar rings the little crosshair that marks my home location keeps changing colour from white to red,to blue and then back to white. The strangest thing happens when I take a screen shot using radarbox screenshot and preview it the saved image shows the radar rings but when I do a printscreen capture it shows the screen with the large white circle . Never had any issues prior to installing upgrade.

I have just tried that and no different Im afraid. The radar rings appear as the software starts but as soon as I try to highlight any object on the screen the whole centre goes white again. When I turn off the rings the software runs normally apart from my home cross hair which continues to change colour.

Dave/Vena,  for my info to pass to the Developer, where do you have RB installed to on your computer?  Also can you advise which version of Windows you use?

Radarbox is installed in C:\Radarbox\Airnavsystems\Airnavradarbox and it has run fine ever since it was installed in 2011. It is only since I upgraded this morning that the problems have started. I installed the upgrade this morning prior to starting the software as I had read about the expiry of the previous upgrade. I have upgraded as the upgrades have been released  but this is the first time I have had any problems

The Windows version Dave?  Its quite vexing as nothing has been done which should have any effect on it and only the two of you so far have had the issue.

I updated to 5.00.63 this morning and keep getting the large white circle but on adjusting the zoom in disappears. I'm using Windows 7 and have it installed directly onto the C: drive

Thanks Dave/Vena, I use the same Windows version as you Dave.  These ones that only affect a very few are very hard to replicate and fix.  I wonder if the full install would sort the problem.  It is here if you want to try it http://www.airnavsystems.com/download/ANRB/ANRB50063Setup.exe

I too have the big white circle over the map on start up but it is only on screen for about 1 second then disappears and everything then works normally.
