hi all

Been running v62 since Saturday am (gmt).  Have found a couple of issues as follows.

with v4 I had a few problems with the sw crashing when doing other things on the PC.  One being establishing a Remote Desktop Connection (RDC).  Starting this on my v4 installation would cause the app to crash.  So yesterday I tried it with v62.  Happy to say it worked and I could monitor from a remote PC.

However I immediately noticed that the alert pop ups were not being seen.  After further investigation it seems the screen resolution of RDC, the alert was off screen.  I had to move the pop up further into the middle of the host screen for it to be seen on the RDC screen.

Next when logging off the RDC connection the host PC is screen locked.  This had the affect of halting alerts until I went back to my host PC and logged back in.

Hi Airnav, I have noticed when I check off to display the NDB, it will work fine, however once radarbox is restarted I need to re-enable it every time.  Is this normal behavior?

I have not yet downloaded any of the Beta's.

I understand I need to uninstall v3.13 and then do the full download.

Do i need to disconnect my radarbox from the PC and then reconnect after the download?

Regards

Hi Keith,

You should only connect the USB cable after the software installation has finished to complete the process.  If you have 64 bit version of Windows you will also require to download and install the 64bit drivers before connecting the cable.  Uninstall the previous version(s) before installing the new one but remember first of all to save your mylog, photos, logos, silhouettes etc collections which you may have been building up over the course of time and replace the ones from the new installation with them.

Also remember to install to C:\Airnav and not to a program files location.

Hi Alan
I updated my database today and it appears the same size as yesterday . Since the new beta version the update size appears to have increased its size to 66305 kb . Has something happened

Tested the "Send email with custom server":
- entered the data for my yahoo.fr account

- entered 2 email addresses in the "Recipients (comma separated)" of the Reporter form
- clicked "Send now"
- received the emails in both accounts

- changed the "Recipients (comma separated)" field to 2 yahoo groups where I usually send the logs
- click Send, the status bar says "Message sent with success", but the message does not appear on the lists :(

PS. I've already reported this issue in the beta 053 topic.
