48480D is in d/b as a Bolkow 208C PH-HVD, which can't be right. It but must be a Netherlands Airforce F16, but unfortunately I don't know which one.

This was M-OMAN FA7X but d/b states this frame is now P4-GIS.

Have you made it to Scotland yet?

PS. New RadarBox 5.00 is a big improvement! No issues at all except just a bit slow to load the reporter at around 2 seconds.

Netherlands civil aircraft use 484*** and 485*** hex codes. Netherlands Military aircraft use 480*** and 481*** hex codes and from AvDv gives 48480D is given as PH-HVD the Bolkow as does GAS http://www.gatwickaviationsociety.org.uk/modeslookup.asp

John - All of your ones are now done.


Michel - This mode S code is allocated to the Bolkow -http://www.newfoundland.nl/luchtvaartregister/user/en/luchtvaartuig.php?registratie=PH-HVD if a F16 was using it it shouldn't be.

X - P4-GIS is cn 139 M-OMAN, was cn 138. Cn 138 according to the database is now A6-MBA of Empire Aviation (This ties in with the callsign you posted) so I have added 43E8F8  as miscode of  A6-MBA.

Netherlands civil aircraft use hex codes in the 484*** and 485*** hex code range with military aircraft using the 480*** and 481*** codes.  AvDb and GAS both give the Bolkow for 48480D

I don't know what, but something is wrong with 48480D. I've logged it several times at altitudes like FL330 and with callsings as Metal01, Sting01 and Fist01 which are typical Dutch AF F16 callsigns. I've "seen" it flying at FR24 since they have MLAT and speed is exceeding 440 knots. That's why I have my doubts about this one.

That being the case then Michel, with that additional information the F16 must be miscoding the civil hex.  I will mark it as in use by more than one aircraft.
