Good evening Alan,

ofcourse not. I did not change any of the 245000 records are in at this moment.

The problem (if it is a problem........?) when I untick that box the number of flights NOT showing the flight info is growing verry fast.

If you do not understand all this I will ask a more well speaking and wrihgting collegue to help to make clear what I mean.

Sorry for the problem I can not be clear to you.

Hi John,

I would suggest that you tick the box to ensure the route are updating and I will ask Airnav about this.  How many of the current routes in myflights are not populating at this time?

Is anyone else having a problem with myflight routes not populating that are in the database?

Hi Alan,

the only problem (so it looks) when the box is ticked, is that manual route info will be overwritten by AirNav info.

Wenn I untick the box this will not be happen,  BUT flightinfo from other flightid's  will not be displayed anymore while in the d/b.

When I saw this happen I switched back to normal immediately ofcourse so made no report of missing info from that moment on.

John,

As you only have one manual route it wont be much of any issue for you to leave the box ticked.

I await replies from other users with a similar issue of the myflight routes not populating when they are in the database.

Alan,

the one I got as exemple (SQC) is not the only one. As I said before this is one exemple. There are more then twenty in between I did "personalisized".

Sorry that I can not make clear myself to you. I will do my best to do next coming week with the help of others.

No problem and have a nice Sunday, Alan!

BTW: it is not a question of "Not populating" but "Populating" while the last option is not wanted.......

I twas just that you statws that the problem was growing very fast I was thinking that the majority of your myflights were not showing routes.

Going back to your original question, you should set any record that you update yourself to N but remember to do this after the flight has left your myflights as the N will have no affect untiltafter it has left your coverage area and will be ready for the next time you pick up the aircraft operating the route in question

Alan,

I did exactly as you discribed from the beginning. "My Flights" give a more and more great number of flights NOT giving route info while the box is unticked.

So I do not understand all of this things happen here.

sorry my "step by step" from the begining was not clear to you. Please can you tell from what point it goes unclear?

Maybe I can give it another try....

John,

I didnt state anything was unclear.  You changed the route details for the flight after it had left your box myflights list and then set the Autoupdate to N but the next time you picked up the aircraft the route had changed.

In between setting the Autopopulate to N and picking up the aircraft on the route again had you updated the Navdata through databse explorer and if you did so, did you choose the option Do Not Update Manually Changed Records.  As the route details had changed I would suggest that you didnt.

If it is in the Navdata it should show in myflights, network flight are taken from the server and with the box unticked the only flights that shouldnt show routes are ones with no route info in your Navdata and you have told the software not to populate.  I am running with the box unticked just now and no problems so far as all flights are showing routes although I dont get the numbers of flights you get.

Alan,

thank you for all your reactions! Really appreciated but I do not understand anymore. Let us please stop this discussion. Unfortunately we do not understand each other I am affraid.

It take much to much time and brings no solution. You don not what I mean and I do not understand what you mean.

I will still going on with sending you routereports. Gives a low number of problems......

Thank you for all.

John,

In between setting the Autopopulate to N and picking up the aircraft on the route again had you updated the Navdata through databse explorer and if you did so, did you choose the option Do Not Update Manually Changed Records.  As the route details had changed it you didnt and that could explain why the route details changed.

Quote from: Runway 31
The flights in the d/b and the route not showing did you update them yourself and are they set to N for autoupdate?

No I did not Alan. What do you think? That I will change 245000 routes in the database from Y to N?

What hase this all to do with autoupdate?

This whole mysterie is going on with me "life on the screen" I see my manual add or edited routes change immediately by AirNav directly when a flight involved appears on my screen. All my edits are overwritten by AirNav data and that is all. Sorry I can not make this clear to you. Hope I find a way to do so next week....
