Alan give me some explanation because  I do not understand anymore,

- when I edit a route and put this line "N" in auto-update the route-info was allready updated with the information from the AirNav database the next second; so my edit is overwritten immediately.

- when I untick in preference "autopulate routes" this will not happen; BUT: other flight-id's do not give route info any more longer.

Is this a bug in the software or so? May be I follow a wrong procedure; can you please tell me what to do (step by step) when I want to edit a route and this will not to be overwrite with the old AirNav info again and all other routes gives there info as before with a ticked box in "preferences". I Presume there is going something wrong.

I am RB user from the beginning; al those years there where problems with the routes. When comes the time they will be solved. Sorry, Alan, you can not doing about this but all this to tired of being.

John,

If the info for the route is already in the Navdata database and is wrong, change the details in your Navdata and change the autoupdate option to N and if an aircraft is picked up showing that flight ID, the flight will not sync with the server and your info will stay in place even if Auto-populate route Data is ticked in Preferences/Radarbox.  Also advising me of the required change will see the correct info on the server which would avoid any conflicts.

Similarly when updating the database in its entirety your sync option should be Do Not Update Manually Changed Records

It's Learjet LJ-1. (Returning from maintenance. Had previously mode C transponder, now mode S.)

Alan, thank you. I do exactly as you describe. Despite that, the info I edited will be overwrite immadiately by the Original info from AirNav......

When a flight is not on the screen any more (landed or out of my area of reception) the edits I made continue to exist, so I now have found out.

I have the fear that the software in this area is not in order.

Thank you for help until sofar!

The main thing John is not to make the change while the aircraft is still in myflights, wait until it is no longer in your reception.
