Hi Alan

A route for amendment:

LOG41EG   - EGPH - EGPA and not EGPH - EGPB as per the db.

Regards

Keith

Hi Bela,

Welcome to the forum.

Unfortunately N181CS isnt ADSB equipped and as such cannot be tracked by Airnav as it requires MLAT triangulation to be able to show an a tracker and Airnav doesnt yet have this capability

http://www.flightradar24.com/ or Planeplotter see http://www.coaa.co.uk/planeplotter.htm are better suited as they are able to show the approximate position of non ADSB aircraft using MLAT from their feeders boxes.

However given that N181CS arrived at Wick on Wednesday 8th I would think that weather permitting it has started the ocean crossing part of its journey and as such the opportunities for MLAT triangulation will be few and far between until it is well into Canadian airspace.

I wish him well for the remainder of the trip and hope it is not long before he is home safe and sound with your daughter.

Thanks for the information Alan.  We look forward to tracking N181CS when it reaches North America.

More shenanigans in Lagos! I have reported previously that hexcode 064159 is/was aerocontractors DH8D 5N-BPT. However, the past few days a First Nation callsign has been appearing next to the reg in Airnav and sure enough, just now "First Nation 101" has landed and was indeed one of their A319's but it did not call the reg upon landing. So, I assume a miscode?
The DH8D is flying too as I took a picture of it on the ramp yesterday as it taxied in but I have no idea whether the same hex is being used or that has a different one now :(

Morning Clive,

My database gives 064159 as 5N-FND Airbus A319-111 c/n 647 FirstNation Airways so it may be the real one.

It would be good to see what the Dash 8 is using

Further to last Alan, I have a few hexcodes that are appearing this week that I have yet to tally with the correct aircraft: 06407D, 064111, 040087 and 044045. The latter keeps appearing here and I keep blinkin missing it on departure! 040087 could be linked to a Nigerian machine as 040086 is 5N-BJO. regards clive.

I dont have anything on any of those Clive other than the 044045 miscode which should be a DC8 but you noted it as a Dash 8.
