Alan

This flight carries on to OMDW, the return I assume is JTG770

JTG769   ESSA-HESH

The trick is finding out where to get the info Keith.

Hi Alan

Maybe you can look in to this one C0637E that I have just picked up heading toward Stornoway.  It is showing as a miscode but the Canadian registry is showing it as C-GLRP, the same as its c/s but the details are for PR-FMS?

Thanks

Keith

Hi Keith,

C0637E is now C-GLRP Learjet 45 c/n 45-2103 Skyservice Business Aviation registered 8/1/2014, two days ago and is the former G-HPPY de-registered 7/1/2014.  I would imagine its on its delivery flight

The previous C-GLRP had the same hex and is now registered PR-FMS and is/was presumably miscoding its former ID.

Cheers for that Alan, I will continue to monitor that hex should it appear again. Incidentally, if I was to take your suggestion and change it to 040045, it is an Ethiopian 787 which showed up today too!

Thanks Alan

I knew you would have the answer, in this case I take it that you have amended the db to show this change and I will delete the picture of a helicopter from the Photos file and links from the db fields

It has been updated Keith.  This is the 4th use of the registration.

I woudnt think that it will be the case Clive, either a DH8D or a 737.

Yes I would agree Alan as it was using an Asky callsign, just a coincidence re the 787 :)

Thanks M, can find nothing on it yet but SE-LHI would seem likely given its earlier delivery date.

Hello, I'm new to the forum.  I'm a pilot/aircraft owner but a novice at web-based aircraft tracking.
If you will forgive the intrusion, I found this thread via a Google search for N181CS (an ArkEx Dehavilland
Twin Otter).  My interest in tracking this particular aircraft is personal in nature...  My Fiance's son is
currently flying that Twin Otter home to the USA from North Africa.  He calls / Skypes us when he can, but
we'd like to be able to track his progress home (currently from Wick, Scotland, to the Faroe Islands,
Iceland, Greenland, Northern Canadian territories and finally down into the USA).  I've tried using various
global flight tracking web sites (this one, planefinder.net & www.flightradar24.com) but I've only been
able to find/track N181CS a couple of times with www.flightradar24.com while the aircraft was in the UK.
Is there a FAQ that describes what types of aircraft can be tracked and where (globally)?  I suspect that
particular Twin Otter probably has an old Mode C transponder and/or doesn't have any ADS-B equipment
onboard.  Thanks for any help (my apologies if this post doesn't belong here).
