Timeout problem persist also with the new version 5.00.062.
Why nobody pay attention on this problem. ?

Dana, the timeout problem isn't he only problem that hasn't been fixed: the population problem is still there, too.

Which population problem do you mean Ingo? We have not noted any issues.  Every aircraft on my screen has populated.  Can you provide a screen shot of all the non populations.

The populate function of MyLog does only work one time after SW start. After it is exedcuted once, no further population takes place although populate is started from the MyLog options menu. I haven't tested, if the second popualtion problem: no auto-population after "forced" population is still existing too.

Please remember that this is a beta and we are working throught the few remaining issues.

After the populate function is operated for that first time are there other aircraft that require to be updated in your log and if so is the info available to populate them?

How it worked in Version 4 and before:

1. Unknown Airframe in MyLog.
2. Start populate.
3. Unknown Airframe populates to NavDataBase.
4. Start populate second time.
5. Details of previously unknown airframe are added to MyLog entry.

Since V5 the chain stops afte item 3. as item 4. can't be launched without a re-start of Software.

The (auto) population problem type 2:

1. items 1 through 3 of list above were executed.
2. new unknown airframe was received and data was provided in db update thread.
3. Data is added to server db by you (Alan) or Andrew.
4. airframe is received again (several times), but not auto-populated to lokal navdatabase.
5. restart of software
6. on next reception airframe is autopopulated  to lokal database.

Without use of "forced" populattion:

items 1 through 3 are identical.

4. airframe is autopopulated  to lokal database during the first time of reception after airframe details were added to server database.

Ingo,

I will ask how the populate function works now.  I would imagine that with the autopopulate function it now works differently.  I have no first hand knowledge myself as I dont use the populate function prefering to download the new Navdata each day so have very few blanks.

Oliver the playback is in the to do list.

Regarding 00.62 please note it has still to be released by Airnav, I only released it to ensure affected users were still able to use their box without reverting to V4.  When Airnav release it, hopefully today, there will be a seperate  thread for it and its issues.

I have just tried to open my Airnav and I am getting a message telling me that this beta version was only available until Nov 30th and it shuts down?? Help please!

I had the same problem as reported by Clive, but upgraded to v62 and then did a database update.
Everything went smoothly and I thought the start-up was as quicker, as in v4. Much better!
Just for information I now have 210293 aircraft in the database.
