If you took a backup of Navdata before upgrading to v5, you could try running SQL to populate the PTTN field on that unencrypted database.

Put AR in PTTN, and AR followed by ",2" in PTTN2.

I have no knowledge of SQL ( don't even really know what it is ) but I putted my last v4 DB3 file, updated with the latest DB update release, in the NavData.db3 Editing Tool, in the aircraft table I created the CS and PTTN columns, copied the regs in to the PTTN and added a time stamp in CS for the whole list.
created a new DB with the editing tool and pasted it in to the Data folder.
no joy : immediately I had downloaded pics for planes who where already in the pic folder.
opened the DB explorer, and aldo the "new" columns I created where there, no data was in it ( they where in a red'ish collor ) I gues this has to do with the incription
so I just will be patient and hope a fix for this problem can be offered soon

Liviu,

Regarding 343, from the shot of your d/b I note you have Autoupdate set to Y for this aircraft.  Can you make the changes back to your own photo in d/b explorer, delete the wrong photos again and set Autoupdate to N and let me know how it goes please.

Also make sure that in Preferences/Radarbox/Photo and Aircraft Auto Populate you have unticked Auto Update Manually changed Records

Upgraded to 5.00.047 yesterday and most of the "strange" flightids has now disappeared, although one seems to stick and it's "PZP". I have seen it on multiple aircraft during the last 24 hours, it seems to be "wandering" around.

Compiled a little list of the problem:

hi just upgraded v4.03 thru 5.0044 to 5.0047.  Briefly when in 44 I had the 3D option in the toolbar.  By the time I got 70 47 it had gone.  Seeing as I don't subscribe for the 3D version was surprised to see it in the first place.

However more importantly I am getting no sound now when an Alert pops up.  The system is still pointing to the D005.WAV file after the upgrade

Try re-selecting the WAV file from the Radarbox/Data folder using the BROWSE button.

thanks but it was the first thing I tried.  Just tried deselecting, restarting program and selecting again.  No joy.

Did you use the BROWSE button to select the file, or type it in manually?

Since 044, the log report sent using AirNav mail server is truncated to ~34kB. It has been repaired in 3.13.
Using custom mail server, it is sent ok.

The name of the report saved locally is still incorrect.
E.g. the  log saved today "AirNav RadarBox Log 20131026.txt" and it contains data for 2013.10.25.
The line "Valid for 2013.10.26" should be "Valid for 2013.10.25".

Tweo issues concerning user comfort:

Since V4/V3.13 we have a direct link to the reporter section of MyLog menu from main window. Further we have a link to the MyLog menu. If you were in the reporter sub-section of MyLog and you are entering the MyLog menu by the MyLog button you got to the reporter sub-section. In my oppinion this is an unneeded redundancy, because if I have wanted to go to the reporter sub-section I would have used the reporter button. So, my idea would be, that if the MyLog button is used it will always go the the "Grids" section of the MyLog menu.

Another point concerning Grids-section:

If the RB software is running, the displayed grids-list stays with the day of starting the Software. In my oppinion it wold be great, if the list will automatically switch to the current date.

Error Issues with remote control and multi user PCs:

If the Software is running for a couple of hours and several remote actions and user switches were made, the software produces an error if one of this menus is tried to be opened: File, Filters, Map, 3D View, Tools Window, Help. All other Menus can be used without an error message. Error Logs had been sent to support. Mybe it's caused by the repeated on/off switching of the aero colour-sceme.

If the altitude display is changed from ft to meters and vice versa while 3D mode is active, the software crashes.

The altitude shown in 3D mode is some kind of a gewnerator of lotery numbers but nothing wich is coming even close to an accurate display.

After starting 3D view the globe stops somewhere with maximum altitude, which is not very comfortable.
