Morning Alan,

Time you were coming back here as you can see things are going a bit awry and needing your superior expertise to sort out !

With regard to EC-CGV. The Spanish register gives it as previously being registered as N9552N so that doesn't help the cause. Just to confuse things further, it also states that it has been in storage since September 2009 at Cuatro Vientos. It does however confirm it as PA-28-180 with c/n 28-7305583 so at least that looks right !

Unfortunately charter routes and their ID's can be very short lived before they move onto a diferent route being used with the same flight ID.

Having checked it out, it appears to be the same one that you are using !

You can also try this which comes in pdf format but does not include much in the way of information on each individual aircraft and takes for ever as you cannot 'home into' a particular aircraft but have to scroll through the whole register. It is, however, up to date :

The Romanian Airclub's PZL-Mielec 104 Wilga 35A YR-VLP cn 139503 is not active in the Romanian register since march 2012.

Even in Romania, there are several aircraft with 222222: YR-VIS (PZL-Mielec 104 Wilga 35A, cn 118382) and YR-5108 (Flight Design CTSW, cn 07-03-26)
