Kenny,

Thanks very much for those.

The information however is different to that contined in http--www.thai-aviation.net-files-Air_Force_Detail.pdf
which gives 70202 as L17-1/54 c/n 340B-372

Hi Alan,

Got the info from this http://www.wings-aviation.ch/11-RTAF/200-Aircraft/Saab-340/Transport.htm
for the s/n, agree with you that B is for the type of plane but the individual plane has no B. on serial

For the 340-455 (70201) and 340-342 (70203) I think it is under B.K1 section in that pdf file since they are Erieye not the B.L17 (logistics)

Kenny,

Thanks very much for those.

Afternoon Alan,

On 'My Flights' now :

48D8E1 C130 c/n4513 registration 1502
Flight ID :PLF254 of the Polish AF
Details beside the photo show it as belonging to US Coast Guard
Our d/b explorer and Airframes confirm it as Polish AF.

Also one of the accompanying photos shows a B737 presumably of the US Coast Guard. A mix-up somewhere !

Nice easy one to explain Ian, one of the problem with Air Forces giving using a serial thats in use by another Force  This is one of the things to be fixed in the forthcoming update.  The current system doesnt use the photo links added by the updaters and just downloads the first one it comes to on Airliners with the serial.  Its not particularly easy when for example the French for example use the c/n as the serial and you can therefore have 5 or 6 French aircraft types with the serial 100, which one does it go for!!  To make it easier for it we have added the links.

The upcoming release will use the links we have added to show the correct photos and in preperation I spent a few weeks going through the database cleaning up the photo links.  I expect that I will have missed some given there are so many and no doubt others will be added in the meantime but I am sure that users will point them out to me!!

Alan
