Flight info

Hi,why do flights show the incorect flight info on the network server?I have seen several flights this morning on the map showing i.e EDDH-EHAM but the flight is over the uk.

If you pass details of the flight ID we can investigate and the info can be corrected.  There are thousands of flights each day so without the info it can take time for the incorrect info to be found and corrected.

Please feel free to post on the Database updates thread.

Also as a newcomer to the forum, do you have the latest Navdata installed as this will have more upto date route information.

Two ID's showing no flight info this morning.KLM1471 EHAM-EGPF
KLM1277 EHAM-EGPH.

I will keep checking during the day and keep you up to date.

I have no clue as to why these are not showing.  Just checked the server and my Navdata and they are included in both.  Were they showing the route on Myflights or did you just note them on the network?

No flight details were showing in Myflights or on the network,just the flight ID's yet as you say the details are in Navdata.I have also noticed getting away from flight info for the moment that EGCN Robin Hood/Doncaster airport is not shown on the map.

It isnt on the map.  Airport names are imbedded in the software and there is nothing that can be done in this version. You can add in the airport outline though and it will be available on Rods page for download.  Get it here http://www.rodbearden.com/RadarBox/Downloads.htm

Thanks for that Alan will give it a try.
Flight ID SHT12H (BA1326) is showing as EDDT-EGLL it is in data base as EGLL-EGNT on both counts so why does it show the wrong routing.

I can answer that one.  On occasions the server routine doesnt let go of the route info from the previous flight made by the aircraft.  Airnav are aware and it is pencilled in for correction.

Thanks Alan.that makes sense.I also think that sometimes the onboard info is not updated.

KLM1282 Showing on map as EHAM-EGPH should be EGPH-EHAM as in the database.

I do not understand why it was showing on my map as going the other way,maybe I am a day behind!!.
