Protection against static

Greetings, to protect my AirNav Radar box against that collects static external antenna (radar rama 5 dB)  can you recommend, I have heard that this box is somewhat sensitive, thank you.

As far as I am aware I dont think the Radarbox is any more prone to static damage than any other receiver.  With any outside antenna sensible precautions are required whatever the receiver being used to disconnect the antenna from the receiver prior to predicted lightning storms.
