Hi Malcolm,

If you are getting other aircraft displayed on the map and Finair is only showing in the MyFlight list without a globe then they only have Mode-S transponders and not the extended ADS-B transponders.

They may in the future upgrade, but for now you will only see them in the list.

Hope that helps.

What aircraft types was it that are not showing?  Some types do not show at all (older aircraft) and ATR, EMB types do not have ADS-B fitted as standard.

Don't know where Malcolm lives and what range his Radarbox has,
it still strikes me as odd that he can see Finnair flights via the network
indicating that there are Finnair ADS-B equipped aircraft but that he cannot
get them via Hardware flights..... suggesting these ADS-B equipped aircraft
do not get within his range.....

Very strange or...... ?

Regards,

Marinus.

I regularly see Finnair A320 and occasionally B757's and they transmit. I live 9nm from the BPK beacon and on a clear day as well as seeing them on the RB can also see them clearly enough to identify the livery via my binoculars :-)

Not all fleet is upgraded to ADS-B. Not all the 737s for BA have ADS-B.

Most MD80's do not have ADS-B
