Runway 31

Hi X,

I cant  find anything on either the aircraft or the operator using the code AGA.

The new Georgian 514036 looks like quite an old code looking at Georgian coding and was picked up from 13000 climbing to 38000 this suggests Fujairah departure. It was a non plotter

Do you have a code for B743F 4L-ACE 24837 opb Aquiline????

X,

Aviation Services of the USA use call sign 'Aquiline' with their ICAO code being AVQ. No website unfortunately.

I believe Aquiline who operate 4L-ACE B743F use AGA on flight numbers around the Gulf/Afghanistan etc.

I dont have a hex for it.  However, Airframes shows that the operator of 4L-ACE is Aqualine International, my d/b gives it as Georgian Star International.

Thier website http://www.aquiline-aero.com/en/about-us.html shows they are Sharjah based and indeed do operate a B743 and also a B733

AGA7473 is maybe a bit too much of a COINCIDENCE....747-300!

Just to add to the confusion. AGA is the ICAO code for a company known as 'New Georgia Ltd' based in Georgia. Again, no website but their aircraft use the call sign 'Agair'.

Also 'Airport-Data.com' show 4L-ACE as currently belonging to Air Astana based in (wait for it) Georgia.

Agair / AGA 7473 and dodgy Georgian Freight operators based in Sharjah all seem to point in one direction...A colleague was in FJR two days ago and I am hoping he saw 4L-ACE on the ramp.

Air Astana.....Where did they get that info from? Could be on wet lease as a Freighter to the Kazakh National Carrier and could explain its northerly flight path towards Kazakhstan.

X,

I blame you for starting all this !

Further information for yourself and Alan, is that 4L-ACE in its previous lives of TF-ARY and VP-BIC was using hex code 400195 therefore probably still using it.

I'm now going for a lie down after all this. It's giving me a headache !

Used to see it all the time in Moscow as VP-BIC when operated by Air Bridge Cargo out of Sheremetyevo. It was delivered 9/12 to Aquiline as 4L-ACE but had not been picked locally until today.
