Another new Iranian 730903 which decodes to EP-BHC just dropped off my screen was at 2500 descending to 1175 over 6 minutes might be a light or chopper on one of the nearby islands.

730903 EP-BHC has recently departed somewhere near to us and went to 30,000 in 16 minutes, so not a light or chopper. Either new or yet another Iranian miscode.

Hi again from Lagos;
After yesterdays confusion over the hexcode 300324, today I can confirm that it is NAF-570 of the Nigerian Air Force, just landed again today and the callsign was nice and clear, regards clive.
My equipment: Airnav mobile antenna stuck outside of the highest hotel window available!

Alan

with my increased coverage I seem to be getting lots of unknown Iranians, this time decodes to EP-JAC , a brief contact at 20000. Must be a miscode or reuse as this was a Let L-13 Blanik glider that was lost 2008.
