Flight Numbers and Routes
« on: March 31, 2008, 12:54:33 AM »
I have a question about the Flight Numbers and Routes in the log reports. The older versions showed Flight Numbers and Routes and Version 1.5 does not.

No, you didn't miss anything.
This has been raised before on the forum and AirNav Support have promised to address the matter; Quote:-
"......... once we have the application 100% stable we do promise we will add this and many other features added. We are here to give the best possible experience to our users we can."
Maybe there'll be some feedback as to when it is expected.

Cheers
S.H.

This is sometimes the issue, some people ask for the Airline data so we changed it. Now we realise that actually most people liked it the way it was.

It will be corrected in future versions :)

Hi to all

I'm daily updating flights detected over LPPT, however, there's a lot of flights  correctly introduced in ANRB Database that don't appear when aircraft is detected.

For ex I can monitorize TAP103 (LPPT-KEWR),  but only flight number is showed, route isn't available on the screen but it's on Database.

This situation is became more frequently since v1.5 was instaled.

Could you please provide any coment about this strange situation ?

If there is no Flight ID showing in RadarBox, then the route can never show, as the route is shown when there is a matching route in the Radarbox database for that Flight ID.

The flight crew enter the Flight ID into the aircraft ADS-B transponder.  Some crew enter it and some don't.  Some enter it incorrectly and so there will be no route shown.

Hi List

Just an add on note to this topic, the flights that don't appear in flight tracking are the ones I introduced myself in Database, it seems flights that are in original instalation package aren't affected by this problem.

I don't know if this information is usefull for Airnav Support, however here it is.
