Kenny,

For the routes my suggestion is to wait for the next Navdata update.  If adding them onto your own system make sure you time stamp them as I believe that is required. Any you add will only appear on your system.

There was no affront intended, but with neroon79 being so close to Hannover, I would have thought he might have guessed it as well that D-CAWB is the latest jet for Aerowest, as they are based there.
How did you guessed that this one is owned/operated by Aerowest? I wasn't able to guess that. Neither by using the registration nor by using the airframes hex.
I was very lucky, because I found the descent-profile of D-CAWB into EDDV the day you noted it the first time. Then I was summing up the details: delivery flight into Hannover and the reg is extremely similar to another jet of Aerowest (D-CAWM, Citation XLS+), hence it most likely was a new jet for them. Since then I was waiting for a photo of it or official announcement by Aerowest.

Flieger,

There is no room for guessing when adding to the d/b, if not confirmed it isnt included

Another recurring guest here is D-CAWU. That's a quite similar reg too, but this one isn't owned by Aerowest. This time your hunch was correct. But in many times these kind of hunches won't be correct. I learned this in the past five years. So I've decided to post guesses only with big commercial airlines based on their hex/reg fleet structures.  With all others I proceed the way you did: Waiting for official announcements ore pictures, if the aircraft is labelled. But I don't actively search for them. Usually I find this Updates by coincidence while looking for other things or during updating activities. If you have the time for recurring searching sweeps of this type: I only can say the better for us all.

Hi Ingo,

391543 was F-GFKD A320 broken up for spare, maybe re-using the box and havent re-coded it?
3C48E8 was D-ABGH A319 of Air Berlin, now HB-JOY, miscode old hex ?
C61F97 possibly 461F97 OH-LZB miscoded

Regards

Alan

Negative. HB-JOY is in my list (today 3-times / 3 flights) using correct. A decoding error might be possible. But without flight id almost no chance to figure out if it was one and which airframe caused it.
About F-GFKD: Could indeed be a case of inconsequential recycling of parts or it's a good old case of a decoding error.

OH-LZB did FIN38R with correct hex at nearly the same time as the miscoded airframe did today.

Sorry there was missing one word in my text. Brain is faster then fingers syndrome.

OH-LZB did FIN38R yesterday with correct hex at nearly the same time as the miscoded airframe did today.
