Hello all,
I have very little skill when it comes to computers, I am due for a change of operating system from Vista 32 bit to Seven 64 bit.
Will I experience any problems installing my 2009 version of AirNav on the new system?

Please keep it simple as I am a 'pooter' illiterate.

Thanks for your help, in anticipation

Regards,

The main thing you will need is the 64 bit drivers, get them here http://www.airnavsystems.com/download/ANRB/drivers/ANRB64bitDrivers.zip

I would also suggest you download and install the latest Radarbox version from here
http://www.airnavsystems.com/download/anrb/403/ANRB403Setup.exe

You may also want to keep a copy of your Mylog and transfer it over to the new installation overwritting the one there

To avoid and problems from the Windows virtual store do not install to the default programfiles location.  Install  to somewhere like C:\Airnav

Download and install the latest Navdata update and away you go

Any problems just ask

Alan,
Thank you very much for your very imformative reply, I have printed it out and will give it to my computer engineer when he comes to do the install.
Hopefully he will understand your very comprehensive instructions

I trust that there is charge for these 'downloads' from Air Nav?

As you can deduce from my reply I have very little understanding of intricacies of computers.
