Airport Codes
« on: May 07, 2012, 09:47:25 AM »
what could be the reason that a aircraft would not show airport codes, it has come from somewhere and is going to land somewhere if not the same place, it shows all other details bar airport codes, going by the mode s code it is a aircraft based at EGMC/SEN but I need to know if it was  dep or arr, airport codes would tell me this , is there anyway to gain the flight line from the flight number

maxrad,

A wee bit more info would help us answer.  Is the aircraft in question an airliner or a private aircraft, what is its flight ID, hex, registation etc?

maxrad,

According to Libhomeradar, EZY141J is Amsterdam - Southend and EZY20P is Belfast - Southend. If you want to tie up routes with flight numbers there are several sites which can help of which Libhomeradar is just one. Try 'googling' for more information.

maxrad,

On the Libhomeradar site, at the top of the page click on 'database search'. On the next page where it states 'search by callsign' enter for example 'EZY141J'. Press 'enter' and the details for the 6th of May will come up for that flight. You can go a stage further on that page by clicking on 'show' and you will get additional details.
