An updated navdata.db3 file is now available for download from the link below:

1) Updated aircraft table;

I have ran the update and it is showing in my data file but when  I look in my database explorer I still have the same number as before  136228.
any idea where I am going wrong
I am installing it into
C:\Program Files (x86)\AirNav Systems\AirNav RadarBox\Data
any  help please

AV61, Only go as far as Airnav Systems\AirnNav\Radarbox, leave out the data bit, it will do that itself

I have done as you asked but it is still the same
in my data file I have the new one showing modified 24/4/2012
yet my database explorer still only shows 136228
any ideas

Just to let you know I have tried deleting the navdata.db3 file and redownladed the file and it still comes p with the same number of aircraft as before.

out of interest I have downloaded it again to a location on my pc and the file is 28249kb which is the same size as the one Ive downloaded to my AIRNAV.

Did you Run the file or Save it when you downloaded.  If you saved it, RUN it

have tried both have saved it and run it and have just run it
in both cases the number of kb are the same  which are the same as the january update

You must have more than one instance of Airnav on your computer.  Use windows search and look for Navdata db.3 24/4/2012 and see where they are.  Replace the old one in the correct place with the new one in the wrong place.  Remember where that correct place is

If you installed from the disc which came with your box and then upgraded to 3.13 or 4.03 you will have at least two instances of Radarbox on your computer and have installed the update to the wrong one.

I am running a 4.3  3d version
Maybe I need to delete all and reload but if I go down this route
how do I keep all my data in  mylog as I dont want to lose what I have

currently at work so cant try anything til this afternoon
