« on: March 25, 2008, 06:42:05 PM »

They should be showing one and in most cases mine in mylist do so. They are not refreshed as frequently as the moving blips on the screen are and can change as aircraft change sectors (and airband frequencies) as they proceed en-route.

I also get a lot of squawk codes listed.

marcdeklerk, are you running v1.5 of Radarbox?

The Squawk field in mylist is 95% populated.  As I understand it, Most Commercial aircraft in controlled airspace are issued a Squawk code by atc.  Roadrunner is correct with regards to the Squawk code may change as the aircraft passes into different sectors.

Squawks need to be interrogated by ground stations. They are not squittered as position and other data.
There is no Mode-S interrogator in South Africa.

yip V1.5 running, I've never had a squawk shown? I think palmer has the answer, possibly there need to be a mode S interrogator on the ground, and there is none in South Africa

Thanks guys!
