Wetern Sydney now active :) I spent some good coin on a new antenna set up, we are getting around 200nm from Syd, as far as 20nm from Vic border, 200nm out to NZ and 180nm west towards SA, around 180nm towards Brissy! Pretty much no plane flies thru NSW without being tracked now :) ENJOY guys!!

We had 10 new application for new stations in Brazil and we will approve each one of them once each user confirms he is buying an extrenal antenna. Soon we will cover a great part of the country. Tks to all Brazilian friends. All units are being sent daily but not even 35% of them ahs been activated. Imagine when we have 100% on!!! :-)

We are still looking for coverage improvement in Africa. Any proposals just let us know.

Shows you how bad the rain/cloud is today! FULL ILS Landings for Sydney down to 200ft.

What time was that? - seems to be a few out there now (5.30pm), and will get normally busier over the next few hours.

Hi Drazick, now you've piqued my curiosity, what Customs Documents? - have your local Customs intercepted the RB, or just notified you that they're holding the unit for your collection?
ANRB :  AOR AR8000 : Icom R-7000 : Icom IC-R9000 : JRC NRD-545 : OptoElectronics Digital Scout and OptoLinx Interface; Realistic Pro-2005 : UBC 800XLT - listed in alphabetical order, not cost, preference, performance or entertainment value!

Hello, in the Canary Islands have to pay import tax and export tax exists (DUA)(IGIC) and separate the management by the office of a broker package or courier company, I called my company messaging, informing me that I have to pay 60 € processing fee. Or return the package to the UK, I will not take care of that cost, as is reportedly in the contract with AirNav systems, they become responsible for all shipping costs for that reason I sent the documents I have moved from the courier company to give me an answer to this little problem.

excuse the translation only speak Spanish.

regards

Hi Drazick, many thanks for the explanation, I've had similar surcharges applied when I've ordered items form the USA.   Your English is far, far better than my Spanish, well done!

Drazick, come on mate, you are getting a free radar box, I bet you wouldnt have paid for it...its free, so what if you have to pay some import duty, I spent over 200AUD on an antenna set up and i didnt care, I love this hobby and spending a few bucks to not only be able to better my hobby but to thak Air Nav for the free radarbox.

Gotta give a little to take a little mate. geez

Well said, jaskel. It's hardly AirNav's fault that governments want tax!

AirNav - have you allocated all 50 boxes yet, or can people still apply?
