Hi all

I'm in Abu Dhabi, with a three storey property and can fit a roof aerial. I am close to Dhafra, Bateen, and about 500 metres from Abu Dhabi International Airport. Access would be via stand-alone laptop on 24/7.

I have one of the original SBS-1's (an early one) which is coming up for honorable retirement having given sterling service for many years around the world, so I am looking to replace with Airnavbox.

All new proposals should be sent to [email protected]
Abu Dhabi would be a great addition.

I'd like to be part of the project. I already have the radarbox and so I need to do an update of the program and also increase my reception. How can I do this? I live in Florianopolis - SC - Brazil

Janesch,

The latest version of Radarbox is able to be downloaded from here,  http://www.airnavsystems.com/download/anrb/403/ANRB403Setup.exe  I would suggest you save your Mylog file before de=installing the existing Radarbox version and replace the Mylog in updated version once installed.

The database can be updated from here, if you have not already done so. http://www.airnavsystems.com/download/anrb/dbupdater/ANRBDBUpdater20120127.exe

To increase your coverage you will need an oudoor antenna whcih you may find details of where to obtain one if you google in Brazil.

Regards

Alan

AirNav - would you like to give us a clue about which countries/areas you have sent free boxes to, so that we know where to look out for?

Here we go:

I've visualised these onto a map:

Can't see many of these on the network yet, but I'll regularly (every few days) update my accurate network map to see when they start appearing.

(NOTE: Two network boxes currently have duff info. in their city/country settings - 'BURNIE','AUST' and 'sdfsd','sdfsdf')

Looks good, however given that we have decent Hong Kong coverage, do we really need another 3 units located there.  I think I would have preferred Singapore to be on the list which I havent given up hope of yet.

Large areas of North America are pretty barren and could do with some coverage.

That being the case then we should hopefully start to see some traffic from Singapore.  Though Johannesburg and Cancun would have been on the map as we see them each day.
