Yes - we are getting returns from the Canaries - just one aircraft at the moment - AEA5106, but of course it's often much better than that.

I'm using double shielded RG58 (6 metres) at the moment to see if any difference between that and RG213. So far it looks like there's not much difference.

Will post a polar diagram tomorrow

ahh cool, I did look at that antenna too. im running cellfoil coax about 10 mtrs but im trying to figure out if i ned a better coax...or masthead pre amp
