Hats off to all concerned!

Really like the frequency of these updates, and it's indicative of the reduction in "gaps" showing for both "My Flights" , certainly in my neck of the woods and network returns these days

Another very comprehensive update.  I am so glad I stopped updating the db on my own, it was a nightmare and I was never seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

Thanks updaters keep up the good work.

Regards

My airlines table has lots of changes to get the right logos to show. Because the monthly updates only officially affect the aircraft table, I export my airlines table before using the update, then reinstall it after doing the update.

I used to use the SQLite Manager Firefox addon to do that, but now I use the much more user-friendly NavData.db3 Editing Tool to do it.

I've grumbled about this problem on previous update threads.

BTW I notice that the latest database update does actually include a new airlines table, with vastly more airlines and their ICAO codes in it, but unfortunately with very few IATA codes. As the airlines table's only function is to translate IATA codes into IACO codes, this isn't much help, so I've stuck with my own airlines table.

hello, since I installed this update, the airport (GCRR) LANZAROTE appears Lanzerote? in error, is there any way to change it?

 thanks

I have been updating my NavData.db3 file manually for close to 2 years now....I checked the latest update on a different computer and it doesn't have majority of codes I have collected myself and updated in the DB.  Is there a way to update my DB in such a way that my own data doesn't get over-written?

Hi Mark,

If you send us the codes you have collected and are not available on the Navdata we could add them in and make them available to you and anyone else visiting your locale.   If however you dont feel that is the way you want to go, see this thread which may help   http://www.airnavsystems.com/forum/index.php?topic=6631.0

Hi Alan,

thanks for the info on the software....looks very promising.  I have learned how to use the DB editor quite proficiently now, but I'm even more comfortable using MS Excel, so hopefully I can get this thing fired up soon.
