Hi Everyone!

I have just downloaded the file, executed it after closing ANRB, and when I start the program...I have the same rows and not the 136000. Can you help me? thanks!

Did you select the correct installation path during installation? Repeat the installation and write down the path you entered, then go to the selected installation-folder and look for the "Data" folder. Inside you can find the new Database file. Copy it to the "real" Data folder under Your Disk/Partition:\may be Programs\AirNav Systems\AirNav Radarbox\Data. First you may consider to got to \AirNav Systems and look if there is a Data folder. That's the place were I have wrongly installed the new db file once in a while.

Alternatively you can search your machine for folder "Data".

You may have more than one occurance of Airnav on your computer and if so the system may be reading the wrong one, or you installed to an incorrect location.  The Navdata db.3 file you should have in your data folder will be Navdata.db3 dated 29/1 and there will be another 3 Navdata, files. Navdat db2 bak, Navdatadb3 journal and Navdata-backup db3.  If this insnt the case you may well have installed somewhere else in the wrong location

Is your Radarbox installed to the default c+\programme fiiles\airnav\radarbox location or did you install to somewhere like c:airnav\radarbox\

Install the update to where ever you installed radarbox and only go as far as airnav\radarbox and dont go as far as airnav\radarbox\data.

Once installed go to database explorers and open the aircraft table and that will advise how many aircraft it is reading.

it says 81171 rows loaded in 159ms...

what does this mean? the file Navdata.db3 is dated 27/1/2012

I would suggest that it is the correct Navdata but it is not ths one being read by the system. This would also suggest to me you have another occurance of Airnav on you computer with an old Navdata db.3.   I would suggest you do a search for Navdata db.3 on you system to find the one in the correct place but is older and replace it with the one you have dated 27/2/2012.

I have two locations: C:\user\appdata\local\virtualstore\Programfiles\airnavsystems\airnavbox2009\data

C:\programfiles\airnavsystems\airnavbox2009\data

They have different sizes (18.5MB and 27.4 MB, respectively)  and "last changed date". First one 22-2-2012 and the second 27-1-2012

any suggestions?

thanks!

I would suggest you swap them around then start up radarbox and it should be OK

I have tried to install the newest database. The data file shows the latest version, but when the database explorer is opened still shows 80k aircraft.
I uninstalled Navdata backup in case it is still reading that but makes no difference. There are no older versions installed since upgrading to Windows 7, even uninstalled the version on my old XP in case that was affecting it.
Tried to install on my desktop with same result.
Any help welcome.

Hi Brisbane,

Where is Airnav installed to , is it the default location airnav installs to or have you chosen the install location.

Also when you state the data file is the latest version, in what location is this file?

I used the default location to install the upgrade. It's listed in Data file under NavData 27/01/2012 21-54 DB3 File 28070 KB.

Thanks Brisbane,

Is Airnav itself also installed in the default location? i.e. c\:programmefiles\AirNav Systems\Airnav Radarbox and is the data file you have the Navdata d/b, file within its data folder  i.e c\:programmefiles\AirNav Systems\Airnav Radarbox\Data

Which version of Radarbox are yo uusing and have you preformed an upgrade from an earlier version?

Sorry for the questions but you must be doing something wrong and I am trying to find out what it is which isnt easy from a distance.

I have v4.03 installed. All the files are located in C:\ProgramFiles\ Airnav Systems\ AirnavRadarbox. The NavData file is contained in the Data file.
