All ours have the dash. Just looked at a picture Uzbek goverment aircraft and the two mentioned above and it looks like UK then space as you state.

Hi Alan just picked up 40668B it came back as EI-DYE but is G-WPDA can you check the batabase

6831D8 UP-F1003 F100 just eyeballed on take off (not carrying Caspiy titles looked more like Cross?)

BUT it is also appeared to double pinging ascending as UP-F1001 6831C8, but that that landed 15 minutes later so there must have been a crossing of signals as the latter was descending!

Just look at shots of the Il-62's from the 90's, and recent IL-76's, all are UK with a space before number (therefore no dash)..in my personal db I have used the space as that is what I actually eyeballed over the years.

Probably like EK- going just EK no space recently, Uzbekistan appears could be now dropping the space.

Our unknown Ugandan 068064 would appear to be 5X-HJI A310-304(F) c/n 413 ex VT-EJI apparently operated by Services Air in ex Air India new c/s at AUH maintenance for last month and eyeballed twice at the hangars.
