Dave,

go to this site: http://www.icao.int/anb/ais/8643/index.cfm

got to menu "manufacturers" , look for ATR and click on it. You will get a complete list of ICAO designators of ATR airframes.

Hope this helps.

Regards Ingo.

Two airframes, which need a closer look:

484C22 PH-1207 DG50 Glaser Dirks DG-500MB 5E191MB6
3E61BA D-KCFA DG80? or GLID? Glaser Dirks DG-808C 8-410

All other DG50 and DG80 produced by Glaser-Dirks are in the db as Glaser-Dirks except these two airframes. On the Doc8643 ICAO Aircraft Type Designators db-lookup-website the manufacturer is also stated as Glaser-Dirks. In my opinion this two should also be amended to Glaser-Dirks. And with regard to the other entries of the same type: the AN of the DG80 should also be changed from DG-808C to DG-808 C.

To bring a little more continuity to the database, the same may count for the following tie-ups:

48489E PH-1249, 403F83 G-BXUI, 4038EC G-ORIG, AAE2C7 N800KJ, A400D3 N357WS.

Will have a look at the Glaser-Dirks Ingo.

As regard the 02A1AB, its sitting amongst a group of Nouvelair Tunisie aircraft but infortunately no registration is confirmed for it yet.  It must only have changed its hex overnight.

Hi Steve/Syd,

Thanks for that update, I saw that G-CPER had been de-registered yesterday and had removed it from the d/b so I was waiting for it going stateside.

Ingo,

The hyphen has been added to the 2 Glaser-Dirks as per your previous.

With regards to your other  Query re 808C please refer to the Glaser-Dirks website http://www.dg-flugzeugbau.de/inh-dg800-e.html and please note that they refer to the model as the 808C.

Also the ICAO code for DG80 refers to the DG-800 http://www.icao.int/anb/ais/8643/ therefore the DG-808C isnt referenced and we have detailed in the d/b as GLID.  Likewise DG50 references to the DG-500M and not the DG-500MB therefore we have referenced it as GLID

I am more than happy to be proven wrong

Hi Alan,

good to see, that one (more) discontinuity is fixed. I'm quite curious when the next one is discovered.

Have a nice Evening.

I've tracked it just a few minutes ago. Has already auto-updated, well except the AT of course.

Edit: Too early happy: It was TS-ISA and not TS-INL that has passed by.  Nevertheless TS-INL has added by using the populate function...
