I am using the tiny antenna supplied with my AirNav Box.

I get about 260 nm - with the antenna on my window ( inside the glass ).

Btw, I am 95 metres above sea-level.

260nm in all directions is good from inside, sadly I'm only at 35m ASL and have hills and mountains to contend with so the normal antenna wasn't an option.
I was very happy with my range before the pre-amp stopped working and snow means I won't be taking a trip in the roof any time soon to see if it's anything up there that's causing it.
I'll figure it out and get the range back, even if I've got to remove the pre-amp in the mean time. ;-)
