Do a search for outlines or Hamburg, it's all there - I'll find the thread and post the links later - off to have my tea now :-)

However, not easy to do what you want I suspect :-(

Defcon,

Take a look at this FAQ.  It describes creating airport outlines rather than airspace, but it might give you some pointers.

Any idea how to import or use these outlines.  I have downloaded loads of *.out files and was hoping for a drop down menu so that i could select which outlines i wanted.

I do select outlines from the drop down menu but all i get is lots of outlines all at the same time.

Any ideas please?
Thanks

You can't I am afraid select the outline files you want in RadarBox. The only way is too only have the outlines files you want in the Outlines folder.

Thanks.  I did make an Outlines folder and copied all my *.out files into it.  So i guess when i select outlines, it will show everything in that folder.  Is this correct?

Thanks

I guess that you are using Bones outline files for the SBS-1?

I contacted Bones and asked him if he was happy for RadarBox users to use his files, and asked which ones were needed.  He is happy as long as he gets the credit and the outlines are not distributed as part of the RadarBox package. Here is his reply:

You don't need all the files in the data set . The only files you need are:

Lower Airway edges file.

All ATZ and MATZ (Military Aerodrome Traffic Zones).

All CTA (Control Area), TMA (Terminal Control Area) and CTR (Control Zone) airspace.

Permanent Danger, Prohibited and Restricted airspace.

Military ARA, ATA, MTA, TRA, AIAA, E3D Orbit and AARA airspace. TACAN Routes.

Airfield plans.

I don't even use all of these.  Yout go to your Outlines directory and add .bak to the files so you can experiment with what you want (e.g. airways.out.bak).  If you need them, you just take the .bak of the end.

You will need to restart RadarBox to see the change in outlines.
