Thanks Jim,

I expect you will have installed to the default location so the update should install without any problems, why it isnt is beyond me.

However as you have been doing clicking on any unknown aircraft you see should draw down the details for it assuming we have its details in the d/b.

Alan
Thank you for all your advice
I will live with what I have and enjoy the use of it.
Just out of interest I tried to update the database on my laptop running windows 7 and had the same problems ie it didn't seem to update. There we go.
Do you think it would help if I contacted the tech boys and girls at AirNav or are you one of them?
Alternatively I will have to try and see if there is anyone near Luton (EGGW) who has a box and is better at computers than I am to see if they can find out the problems. If ever I find out why I will let you know.
Once again than you for all your efforts
Jim

As long as its working ok.  It is possible that it has updated correctly, about the only way of telling is to look in database explorer for 406392 G-NSKB the last entry in that update.

Hopefull we shall be having another update within a week.

My database does not have G-NSKB so it hasn't updated.
Do you advertise any update in this section or is it shown somewhere else?

Hi Chris,

According to my databse, the registration of VH-VAD was cancelled from the Australian register on 30th April.

Just had a look at the register and as it is flying in Australia and is displaying the registration as flight ID, it would appear to be still on the register so have added it to the database

Hi Jim,

N787WH should be using a hex of AAAC83.  Its a 737-2V6, c/n 22431/802 which was last noted as WFU.

Courtesy Dave Reid on the mode-s forum 424170 is VP-CAQ ex N787WH which was cancelled from the US register on Friday.  The c/n is 22431/803 and the operator Jet Connections Ltd

Looks like there is a new registration. This is a different reg no.

Thats the one I have entered in the d/b Chris.  The one in my d/b is the same one on the offical Australian register.
