Only one more new one again:

Otherwise nothing new.

And yip, probably me in west Malaysia, althought my internet is pretty intermittant!

06410E 5N-HMB B744 Max Air was reported doing circuits at Victorville CA yesterday

0640E1 B744 Max Air was seen by me in OEJN 13th Oct so now have no clue what that is!

Guess we will have to wait to confirm hexes and c/n's

MIDRMA had A6-MAH as 8960BE but there are some howlers in their list (one bad one in HZ land)

Only one other possibility exists on 8960BE

Both A6-MAH and 311 were using it at same time!

As I have already stated A6-QFY and 311 are one and the same aircraft c/n 4834.  It was the hex 8960BE that everyone was confused about but its cleared now.

MIDRMA does have as you state seveal mistakes and should only be used after careful checking.  One thing, A6-MAH is no longer using the hex if it ever was.

Re 06410E, 5N-HMB, I am happy with John Hargreaves confirmation.  The frame is ex VH-OJK and as far as I am aware it has been in storge in Vitctorville since 2009 and is now undergoing air tests from there before delivery.

I dont have any tie ups for the UAE PC21's

I see your 2005 311 photo and raise you a 2010 photo A6-QFY taken in Dubai 9/12/2010

My d/b shows it as 311 1981-2001 and 2005-2008 with it being A6-QFY the remainder.  Unfortunately we see all the time aircraft displaying their previous ID in the flight ID and a Mk 1 eyeball is going to be the only way this is sorted

I am aware that Dubai 10 regularly uses f/n 311 but have not eyeballed it close up recently, most likely still A6-QFY painted on it. I can sort that quickly as it drones past very frequently. Will set alarm for 8960BE and polish my pole up and will confirm asap.

Obviously another dodgy internet report which I saw while in JED and thought as I had seen a B744 on 13th it had gone straight into service.

14 Oct 2011 – Qantas B744 VH-OJC (25067) has become 5N-HMB for Max Air & left Victorville, CA for Kano on 13/10

Plus  VH-OJC is of course 24406, although I had 5N-HMB as ex VH-OJK (25067) from another source stating delivery 12/10!

PS code was 0640E1  (me getting dyslexic)

We will keep an eye on each other and keep us both right.  Nothing on 0640E1
The Airnav report from San Diego for yesterday on mode-s forum picked up 06410E confirming its hex and the fact it is stil there.  06410E 5N-HMB B744 Max Air 2011/10/22 10:32:53

I believe 59A022 may possible be Hawker 900XP OE-GOA very badly miscoding, but nothing confirmed

Alan

Confirmed as OE-GOA

Alan

I think the confusion on A6-QFY/311 may have come from this hex miscode!!

C960BE  312                      312     C130  UAE - Air Force      2011/09/05 07:58:54

C960BE......8960BE. It always used f/n 312 but me thinks I had better look at both again!!!
