Here's a good example of an aircraft that's not fitted with GPS sending dodgy position data in its ADS-B transmissions, and appearing to land quite a long way from the runway.

The airport is reporting its safe arrival!

wow....lucky is was a dodgy sender and not a drunk pilot ;)
