If you're OK with that setup, that's fine, but if you're thinking of reinstalling the full RadarBox software, then it is STRONGLY recommended that Vista or Windows 7 users DONT install in the Program Files folder - install in c:\ AirNavSystems instead. It makes life a lot easier.

If that is the case Simon it should install OK.

Close down radarbox, when it has closed down, click on http://www.airnavsystems.com/download/ANRB/DBUpdater/ANRBDBUpdater20110418.exe

You will be given the opportunity to save or install, click on install, let the installer do its job, when completed, turn on radarbox and it should be there.

Try and let us know how you get on

Simon,

Use the search facility and do a search of your computer for NavData.db3.  If you have downloaded it, it must be somewhere on your computer and you must have the original and the one you have just downloaded.

The origional will be in the programfiles/radarbox/data folder but you are looking for the new one.

Hover the cursor over them and it will show you the date modified, the one with todays date is the one you are looking for.

Let me know if you find it.

No, the one you are looking for is 48.7Mb and is called NavData.db3

Use search on the windows start to find it.  Place NavData.db3 in as the file name to search for and allow windows to search for it.

Windows should give a list of all files with that name in it, when you find it let me know where it is.

I can only think its the windows virtual store problem as stated by Rod previously.

Maybe you should delete radarbox and follow Rods suggestion. to reistall to c:\Airnav Systems to avoid virtual store problems

Could anyone please confirm what the correct size of latest NavData.db3 file should be?
Installer still insists on installing it where it feels fit - into a virtual directory that I thought no longer existed!
I have a file of 49,928kb that I have copied across to the directory that I think it belongs in!
Is that the right sized file - and any way of checking that it is correctly installed once I power up RB soon?
Much appreciate these updates, but it seems very messy to install them!

As Alan put a few posts above 48.7Mb

If you have the right one there should be 109,151 records with the last one on the show all list being 406392 G-NSKB
