Yes freezing and all aircraft have timed out. Network count 0 at 1041. Back up to 1300 and now down to 397 and back up to 1308.  Up and down like a yo-yo.

Network back up, but not doing as it should.

Still jumping from high to low numbers, flights not moving on map after update, flights would seem to hovering at 2700ft on approach to LHR. Then on ground after 2-3 spells of "Connecting to Network server"

Paying for Real-Time not delayed!

Phil

In case you didnt see this Phil, posted 01:15 this morning by Airnav.

This situation could be related to the last software change we did on the server.
We setup a monitoring script to evaluate how the database will perform during the following 24 hours. We will make the necessary changes after the problem is identified."

Hi

I have only just upgraded to the Live Network a couple of days ago.

Can some one please advise if problems with the live network is a regular thing?

Also when the network is working properly should my aircraft position labels be moving every 20secs or so with each update?

Since getting the live network all my network flights have been a good 15-25miles away from there true positions with updates every 2minutes or so if i am lucky.

Cheers Karl

We have found some problems with the server. We've deployed a revised software a few minutes ago. Tests will continue.

Airnav

Why do you not post when you have done updates or changes to the server and make the post locked/permanent so that when people logon the first thing they see is that you are doing this and can respond as required.

Thanks

I might be being thick here Brian but I dont know what you mean.

Airnav started a thread a week or so ago stating they had made some changes to the server routines and asked that we let them know if there were any problems

Thier reply No11 on this thread, states they are acknowledging the reports of network problems raised in this thread and they were running a script over the next 24 hours to find out what the problem is.  Once they know the problem they will fix it?

Just noted I mentioned Reply No. 9 in my earlier relpy

Hopefully this helps.

Thanks for your reply.
What i am trying to say is that many people will logon and look at the headlines of today and decide on the headlines whether to read or not. A thread a week ago about possible changes does not indicate testing today.

I don't read all the posts based on the title straight away as i don't think they affect me.

 Perhaps thats my fault.

But what i am saying is if Airnav just do a post on the day and make it FIXED (ie obvious when you logon) that they are doing some testing/upgrade people will be aware of possible problems.

If they just post it and people then people comment it gets lost down the post unless the title is obvious.

Thanks
Brian

Point taken Brian, the thread was entitled Radarbox Server Maintenance on 8/3 and I guess that as it is now on page 3 it may get lost for some who have been away from the Board for a time.

May be some way to put some threads as sticky to stay at the top while still current.

Totally agree.
If you look at the title of this post you would not think we are discussing this.

Thanks
