Excellent ! I got it until 19:37 - would love to have seen it. Interesting thing is that I'd just come indoors after watching the ISS and Shuttle Discovery fly past only to pick this 'massive' aircraft up - what an interesting connection they made too!

Trully excellent :)

Cheers Dave.
Best regards Dave.

Yep, I had it at about 19:03 to 19:15  & have just had an email saying...... The correct flight number was ADB272F-UR-82060 (not ABB as input by the
crew). The routing was Gostomel (Ukraine)- Melbourne Intl (Florida). ..... (credit to John)

so I will be keeping my eyes open for the return trip!!!

cheers

Hello Bob,

Thanks for the update on the flight number, will tweak my log.

As it's the only one of it's type..it made it rather special to pick it up...certainly hope to receive it's return flight and see it if possible.

Cheers and thanks,

Dave.

East Devon.
Best regards Dave.

Hi Bob,

Many thanks indeed for the update..will need to keep my eyes peeled for this one. Could be my only log session of this fine aircraft. At least the IL96 flies overhead now and then so that might be a fitting alternative - get to see that one plus log it too. :)

Have a good weekend!

Cheers,

Dave.
Best regards Dave.

Hello

Just got the A225 on 'my flights' going from Bangor to Minsk. We are off the north of Scotland and flightaware reckons he will be passing between Shetland and Faroes. We get a range of 150 - 200 miles in that direction. Just for anybodys interest. This is our 3rd time having him.

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for the info, 3 times eh :) no chance of seeing her I suppose...?

Good range you have too, I get around 180 miles ish but not in all directions and I'm only using a VHF rubber based mag mount antenna sat on a Velux window which is held in place but the cable being clamped down by the window frame.

Works a treat though but would like to update at some point.

Cheers

Dave.

Hello

No, I have never managed to see or hear him although I go outside every time.

I am quite pleased with our range considering we are only around 30' above sea level. It is poorer to the west and east but we can put up with this due to the network. Our polar diagram is below.
