Hi,

I have a question about Electrostic discharge:
My RB was burned last summer after a summer lightning storm...I sent the RB to service and they fix it...I have no problem now, it works very well...I am using a BS1105 external antenna without preamp...My question is : What other weather phenomenon can produce elecrostatic discharge exept lightning storm ?

High winds for a continued period also increase the chance of ESD build up.
