RB2008 - V1.5
« on: March 14, 2008, 01:16:14 AM »
As reported on other posts we are finishing the correction of all the reported V1.4 errors.
What we need is for users that reported the SQLLite error 26 to send us a screen shot of that error happening on their computers showing the error message.

All the other reported problems with the software are corrected so a patch should be released in a just a few days.

my MYLOG doesnt want  to change the time to local time.. even when selected in the FILE - PREFERENCES - USE LOCAL TIMES ON MYLOG --selected?

is this just me with finger troubles?

Maby also something to consider is to be able to select under the Tools-Interface- another tab to make the screen 1/2. -I mean 1/2 the MAP and the other half the aircraft details part. Left and right? - would be nice. because at the moment I have to drag the aircraft detail screen to enlarge it the fit 1/2 the screen otherwise some of the details are cut off.

looking forward to V1.5

thanks M

We're you able to recreate the error using the database files I sent you?

Hi

Can you make 1.5 so that the colour of the cursor can be changed please.  It is black and difficult to see on a blue background.  I have tried it light but then same problem as its difficult to see.

Thanks

You'll need to make that change yourself in Windows - see http://www.airnavsystems.com/forum/index.php?topic=526.msg3866

Yet another failure of Airnav to fully test software 2008 fails as stated with sqlite error 26. l tried on 3 diferent machines 2 fail with 26 error other machine just freezes when you go to reporter. Happens with XP and Vista. Also now2007 will not run so I'm now left with nothing working very poor.

All the way through the extended beta testing, using 2 PC, with and without the Internet - I have yet to suffer a sqlite error.  Even when I've manually added tables and fields for testing and used other programs to edit MyLog.db3 and NavData.db3 - I've never had an sql error.

I know that some users are suffering from these errors, and I know that I might get my first error in the next five minutes - but don't suggest that the software wasn't tested :-0

I've no idea what you've done to RadarBox 2007, because 2008 is a completely separate installation in a different directory.

I suggest that you uninstall RadarBox 2008, delete all the files in the AirNav RadarBox 2008 directory, then reinstall 2008.

If you make a copy of MyLog.db3 and NavData.db3 every so often, then you will be able to replace your corrupted files if this happens again.  This should get you running until AirNav can produce a fix for those users getting the sql error.

Yet another failure of Airnav to fully test software 2008 fails as stated with sqlite error 26.

I also never had the sqlite 26 error during beta testing.  And I did a LOT of beta testing for Airnav!!  And the only way I've been able to get this error is to "end task" on ANRB, so that the next time I open ANRB I then get the sqlite error 26.  I've never had sqlite error 26 during normal use of ANRB.

V1.4 problems are TOTALLY identified now. There is no need to keep posting them here. A new patch will by out in a few days.
