Mode S 34368D
« on: January 13, 2011, 02:53:27 PM »
Hi guys,

Currently operating at FL350 off the Murcian coast is an aircraft with Mode S 34368D. It is full ADSB and using flight ID LAV001T. Obviously training as it is going back and forth but there is no information on AN or Airframes regarding this code. A logo of Alba Star.es is appearing on the grid against the flight ID.

Anyone got any ideas ?

Hi Ian,

I answered a query on this in the datbase update thread.  LAV is the identifier for AlbStar as you state and from the info I can find they have 2 aircraft in their fleet, EC-LAV 34341A and EC-KKJ 343055.  They must have a new aircraft in their fleet that we are not aware of yet.

Possibly EC-LKB B737-4B7(F) c/n 24559/1847 which was being prepared at Palma.

Thanks for that John.  I can confirm it did make for Palma after meandering around the Med at various flight levels for a good part of the afternoon. Fascinating to watch the aerial ballet in the sky !

Incidentally, this c/n was on EC-KKJ a B737-4B7F of FlyAnt Cargo which was in storage.
