3D Trial Probs

I thought I'd have a go at the trial version of 3D downloaded it and ended up with 2 shortcut icons on my desktop (one is my original account with all my map prefereces saved) and another basic version ... when I start up from the second new icon it still comes up with my start up box an at the top on the toolbar there is a heading'3D View' but as soon as I click 'Start' the 3D Heading disappears :-) ...any idea what is wrong? or how I get to 3D ??? drivin' me mad.

There isn't a trial version of 3D as such, in terms of you can't download the 3D version and run it using your live RadarBox data.

You can download the 3D version and run the demo which gives you old data so you can view what it looks like and have a play around.

The 3D version is basically the 2D version with 3D added on, if haven't purchased the 3D version but run the 3D software it reverts you to the 2D version.

Ah that would explain it thanks .. is buying the 3D version the only way of getting an actual map overlay on RB ?
