And another, G-SARC, on the ground at Inverness hospital, on the helipad normally used by the air ambulance helicopters.

Hello

He appeared to be around the north west coast of Scotland with the Squawk of 0023 (actual SAR) before going down to Inverness.

He appeared to be around the north west coast of Scotland with the Squawk of 0023 (actual SAR) before going down to Inverness.

Yes, I tracked him across from the west coast, and he then departed from Inverness heading NW.  At the same time I was following him with MLAT (multilateration) on Planeplotter, and the track shown with MLAT was completely wrong, showing him arriving from the south!!

It was most interesting because I was at Inverness hospital on Tuesday for some tests, and we saw the air ambulance take off from the helipad.  At the time my wife asked "what do they do if the air ambulance is needed in two places", and I explained that the SAR helicopters are sometimes used.  I could then show her this "in action" on screen today.
