ADD75E comes out as you state N991LK, not assigned by FAA, possible miscode.
The mil hex as stated by Niklas is a US MIL tac code.

Should read -

My usual miscode.

400C43 received today which should now be HB-JZT 4B1A61. Do you have any info to indicate it still uses its old code. If not i will run a separate post to ask people to check mylogs to see if anyone else detected it.

I guess  you are in the area of Spain. I can confirm that hex code CBEDFC regularly flies over this way. There usually is no accompanying flight ID although strangely enough what can only be described as the Scottish flag of St Andrew is shown alongside the hex code.

I can only assume that the code is being used by test aircraft although which ones I have no idea.

CBEDFC isnt allocated to any country and I am unable to provide any info.  The cross usually indicates a seriously knackered hex with no country allocation.

Cant find anything on 343511 either.

One to look out for, en-route from Madrid to Manchester, 344089 showing a flight ID of OEIAN.  Its A340-313 c/n 414 going to Air Livery for painting prior return to Iberia where it was formerly EC-HQN.
