Hi Brian,

Thanks very much for the kind word.  I would also like to thank you and the others who send in their sightings as they go some way to filling in the blanks too.  Its very much appreciated.

Looks like another freighter out of storage, the recession must be improving.

Happy New Year to you and yours and all the very best for the coming year.

Regards

Alan

Thanks very much Steve, used to add and update where appropriate, appreciated.

Apart from the ones you have been able to provide a type for, the Horizon Flight Training aircraft are still unknown apart from A6-FTZ which is  DA42 c/n 42.427

Happy New Year to you and the ex-pat community out there.

Thanks again

Alan

Hi, quick question on this fantastic program. How often are the hexcodes updated/added to ANRB? Does the update happen automatically everytime ANRB and IE are run simultaneously?

Apologies if this has been addressed already! I looked but didnt find the answer.

Thanks,
Steven

Steven,

The database is being worked on by 4 of us updaters.  If an aircraft comes onto your screen which is new, if it is clicked on it should update itself from the central database.

Airnav are however due to issue an update to the Navdata file soon and this will contain the updated information which will be on your own computer.

Steven I should add that it will not update from the central DB if you already have pictures for that registration and will then only update photoless network records if you physically click on the network entry.

Therefore if for example you see on the network an aircraft with a picture that still populates with details for Northwest Airlines, delete the picture from your local folder and next time you click on it on the network it will populate from the central DB with the correct Delta Air Lines details.

You should note that I add a caution that the ICAO code and newly downloaded photos are still affected by very longstanding Airnav bugs and could be corrupted in the process.

Therefore you get up to date Registration, Construction number, Type and Company info from us updaters at the risk of corrupting any ICAO type and correct photo data in the process due to Airnav bugs.

That is beyond the control of us updaters at the moment and we do hope Airnav fixes it in due course.

Bob, comes out as HB-HXC and given the flight ID could be a Pilatus of some type.  Unknown to me at this time.
