Just as a side note AF1 and his backup slipped back to the US between 4.00am and 5.00am. I was not up but just checked my log. It was using its normal AF1 callsign.

Chris, picking up 00B175 SA8841 in the Joburg area.  This equates to ZS-SSI, any ideas.

Nope - The flight number is for an SA Airlink flight to Kruger. No record of Airlink acquiring another aircraft. ZS-SSH was the last acquisition by Airlink so next in sequence makes sense. The only SA Airlink aircraft with ADS-B is ZS-ASX.
The new CAA aircraft database will be issued on Monday or Tuesday - maybe we will see something there

I'm back in India for short while with the RB and have picked up a couple errors which were previously populating correctly.

8001A5 is populating as VT-AAT F2TH it is in fact VT-KFE A320 KFR.  AAT is 8001C5.

I note from the latest updates above that you might have some gaps in the Indian register.  I have most (if not all) airline/biz-jet tie-ups from my time there, if you send me the gaps I'll check them against my database.

This is ZS-SSI a Bae Avro RJ85 either c/n2383 or 2385 for SA Airlink - will get the full detail next week and post here.

I noted earlier that G-LCYC was de-registered yesterday as sold to South Africa.  It is c/n 2385 so there is our answer.  If you could confirm that for me I would be appreciative.
