Steven,
The database is being worked on by 4 of us updaters. If an aircraft comes onto your screen which is new, if it is clicked on it should update itself from the central database.
Airnav are however due to issue an update to the Navdata file soon and this will contain the updated information which will be on your own computer.
Alan
Steven I should add that it will not update from the central DB if you already have pictures for that registration and will then only update photoless network records if you physically click on the network entry.
Therefore if for example you see on the network an aircraft with a picture that still populates with details for Northwest Airlines, delete the picture from your local folder and next time you click on it on the network it will populate from the central DB with the correct Delta Air Lines details.
You should note that I add a caution that the ICAO code and newly downloaded photos are still affected by very longstanding Airnav bugs and could be corrupted in the process.
Therefore you get up to date Registration, Construction number, Type and Company info from us updaters at the risk of corrupting any ICAO type and correct photo data in the process due to Airnav bugs.
That is beyond the control of us updaters at the moment and we do hope Airnav fixes it in due course.
