Weather request

Hi All, Could anyone tell me why I frequently get a weather request message @ the bottom of my screen, is possible to to turn it on or off?

On the SmartView tab, you can untick "Auto Set QNH" to stop the weather requests.  I wouldn't recommend it, as you will then need to regularly check and set the barometric pressure in your area to set the QNH.

Hi Tarbat, many thanks for the info, please excuse my ignorance, what is the connection of barometric pressure? Is it connected to the flight data we receive?

QNH is used to set the correct altitude above sea level for aircraft below the transition height you've set in Preferences.  If you don't set the correct QNH, then aircraft below the transition height will display with the wrong altitude.
