TCX route query
« on: September 24, 2010, 07:09:49 AM »
Couple of outbound flights on screen at the moment:

TCX 248K G-SJMC 767 over the Wash and TC117K G-FCLK 757 over the Thames eastury both apparently EGCC to LTBS.

Anybody help?

Probably of no help at all (sorry!), but see previous discussion about TCX routes at http://www.airnavsystems.com/forum/index.php?topic=1356.msg10210#msg10210

That was most interesting actually Tarbat - I had completely missed that link due to holidays, although I usually have a scan through on my return.

But at the end of the day though, it was "more of the same" and it all boils down to DIY or nothing.

Regular (dare one suggest "frequent") downloads of updated data (all fields) are just not part of the Airnav package hence the "Database Update Requests" thread - all 56 pages of it - and heaven knows how many more pages of Routing posts.

How quickly records seem to go out of date these days and for those of us who either can't or won't DIY, it's far too quickly.
